The people closest to the work always know more than anyone thinks.

I don't come from one industry. I come from all of them. Education, Healthcare BPO, Advertising NGOs, Creative Recruitment Agencies, Innovation Consultancies, Enterprise SaaS, and now building a startup. When your entire childhood is change, disruption stops being something that happens to you. What I've carried through every shift is one obsession: building environments where people and organizations genuinely thrive together.

Senseeing

What I'm building now

After fifteen years inside organizations, I kept seeing the same thing: the people doing the work knew exactly what was broken, but that knowledge never reached the people who could fix it. So I built something about it.

Senseeing is a feedback platform that gives employees a safe, anonymous way to say what they actually think, and gives leaders the patterns they need to act on it. Not another survey tool. Something closer to what a great manager does naturally, at scale.

Built from a lake town in the Austrian Alps, entirely with AI.

I started in the classroom, first grade in Nicaragua, adults on weekends. Then HR and training, then recruiting and business development, then client experience, then managing a global network of innovation coaches, then enterprise training delivery at scale. Now building the platform I wish had existed in every one of those roles.

Training Delivery Manager

Enterprise software · Global · EMEA training operations, Vienna

August 2019 to April 2025

Managed 15 Technical Trainers across EMEA delivering ILT/VILT programs with a yearly $10M backlog. While every metric looked great, something felt wrong. A deep discovery process revealed 20 to 30% enrollment drops hidden behind perfect satisfaction scores. A systemic problem that required rethinking how we measured success.

What distinguishes Luis is his ability to turn stakeholder relationships into long-term partnerships by keeping people's needs, constraints, and incentives at the center of every decision.

Alex Osterwalder, CEO & Founder, Strategyzer

Independent CX Consultant

Innovation consulting · HQ Zürich, Switzerland · Fortune 500

May 2025 to October 2025

Continued managing key enterprise accounts for Strategyzer, Nestlé/Nespresso, Honeywell, and Rolex, through a company restructuring. At the same time, I used the five months deliberately: going deep on AI tools, learning hands-on, and beginning to build Senseeing. Parallel work: keeping the lights on for clients while quietly starting something new.

  • Managed enterprise client relationships (Nestlé/Nespresso, Honeywell, Rolex) during a critical transition.
  • Coordinated coach network across EMEA and APAC, ensuring continuity of quality.
  • Served as the relationship anchor while company underwent structural change.

Lead Customer Experience Manager

Built the customer success function for an innovation consulting firm working with Fortune 500 companies. Managed C-level relationships with Bayer, Rolls Royce, Nestlé, Roche, and Thales across EMEA and APAC. Designed and executed dozens of innovation workshops (200 to 800 participants). EDF Paris: 800 people, 72 innovation teams, 470 executives. Bayer Catalyst Fund: 400 proposals → 74 funded → 29 advanced → 5 launched with €1B projected revenue. Also built Strategyzer's OKR reporting framework from scratch.

One of his most significant achievements was leading our 3-year innovation partnership with Bayer AG, where he managed the executive stakeholder relationships, complex project management, and strategic onboarding processes. [...] Several of those relationships remain active today because Luis invested in trust well beyond individual project cycles. [...] If you need someone to scale complex products or teams while building partnerships that last, I wholeheartedly recommend Luis.

Mastering Business Models

Strategyzer · 2020

ENABLES

Business Model Canvas framework: how to map the way an organization creates, delivers, and captures value in one view. Environmental scanning, competitive differentiation, and model prototyping before committing to a direction.

APPLIED

The framework behind how I work with teams on organizational challenges. When something isn't working, the BMC surfaces whether it's a value creation problem, a delivery problem, or a capture problem. Now central to how I think about Senseeing's model and positioning.

Mastering Value Proposition Design

Strategyzer · 2020

ENABLES

Value Proposition Canvas and Jobs-to-be-Done methodology: mapping what customers are actually trying to accomplish, the pains they're navigating, and the gains they're after. How to close the gap between what you build and what people actually need.

APPLIED

Changed how I approach every product and team conversation since. Every feature in Senseeing was mapped against real jobs, pains, and gains before it was built. The framework that separates decisions based on evidence from decisions based on assumptions.

Communicating for Impact

IDEO University · 2020

ENABLES

Human-centered design applied to communication: building narratives that shift behavior, not just inform. How to understand an audience deeply enough to know what they need to feel, not just what they need to hear.

APPLIED

The lens behind every client onboarding, QBR, and stakeholder conversation I've run. Communication designed around what the audience needs to receive is structurally different from communication designed around what you need to say.

Journalism Diploma

Sheridan College, Canada · 2003 to 2005

ENABLES

Investigative instinct: how to find the real story behind what someone says out loud. Structured questioning, writing economy, and the discipline of verifying claims before acting on them.

APPLIED

Every discovery conversation I run borrows from this. The journalist's question, what would this person say if they weren't being careful, is still the most useful tool I have in a room.

CELTA Certificate

University of Cambridge · 2005

ENABLES

Adult learning theory and expert facilitation: how adults build new mental models, why instruction alone doesn't produce learning, and the practical skill of reading a room to know when something hasn't landed.

APPLIED

The foundation of everything I've built as a trainer and training manager since. Guided discovery over instruction. Checking for understanding, not just delivery. The difference between a session that informs and one that actually changes how someone works.
